The Scottish Show
2004 Milan & London The Lighthouse, ScotlandÃs Centre for Architecture Design and the City.
On behalf of The Lighthouse, ScotlandÃs Center for Architecture we produced and curated The Scottish show, a travelling showcase of work from designers based in Scotland. The show was launched at Designersblock Milano 04 in April, travelled to London in September and returned to Glasgow in February 2005. Funding from the Lighthouse and Scottish enterprise enabled us to put together a diverse show in terms of both work and experience, graduates rubbed shoulders with not so old hands such as Timorous Beasties, Nord Architects and Onefoot Taller within a showcase that included, architecture, furniture, fashion, graphics, lighting, web design and made a strong case for working North of the border.
